Elmwood Self Storage & Wine Cellar would like to thank Darlene Kattan, Executive Director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for allowing us the opportunity to host the after hours event on February 24, 2010. We received a warm reception from the Hispanic community and were very pleased to receive so many positive comments and words of encouragement. We had a wonderful time and welcome the Hispanic Chamber back for future events. Here are some of the photos of the event.
On January 21, 2010, Elmwood hosted another sucessful Business Card Exchange for the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce. We packed in a crowd of over 90 people. There was plenty of food, catered by Portobello Catering, and drinks for everyone.
Mardi Gras was our party theme, which is fitting since that particular area of our facility holds the French Quarter street signs for every aisle of units. Purple, green and gold was placed through out the facility with a touch of some actual mardi gras beads.
The guest seemed to have a great time mingling with each other and soaking in the atmosphere.
We would like to thank the Jefferson Chamber for allowing us to host the event and hope that we can do it again next year.
Christmas was fabulous at Elmwood Self Storage this year. As usual, the staff went all out to decorate the facility and bring in some holiday cheer. Our new marketing coordinator helped us find the best location for Santa to sit during pictures.
We would like to thank Santa Clause for visiting us and taking pictures with the children. Elmwood Self Storage invited the school children from St. Rita, Jefferson Elementary and Harahan Elementary to take a free picture with Santa. We had plenty of cookies and cocoa to share.
Santa even made one of our staff members an honorary elf for the day.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and can’t wait til next year.

We had a great Halloween event October 24th, 2009. Elmwood Self Storage dared the children from St. Rita, Harold Keller and Rudolph Matas to walk through our haunted units, which held suprises around almost every corner.
The children were rewarded for their bravery with treats in the haunted mansion and were delighted when they got to hand paint pumkins to take home.
The staff had a blast decorating and holding the event for the children.
Please check out all of our pictures in our Event Gallery.
Bring the kids to our Haunted Halloween Party on October 24th from 1pm – 3pm. We will have a spooky walk thru, so wear your costumes! There will be treats, games and pumpkins to paint. Hope you have a happy Halloween!
